Papermaking Felt

Papermaking felts are needle-punched nonwoven products used on paper machines. They feature an endless loop structure containing a special base mesh layer in the middle, with several layers of pre-needled or carded fiber webs consolidated together through needle punching. Their primary function on the paper machine is press dewatering, which requires the product to possess high strength, excellent high-temperature resistance, and superior water drainage performance.

This needle point can reduce or even completely eliminate needle damage to the base mesh, as well as prevent yarn displacement within the mesh. Additionally, our newly developed peach-shaped needle possesses all the aforementioned advantages. Generally, the needling depth ranges from 10 to 12 mm, and the needling density typically ranges between 400 and 800 punches per square centimeter.
